Alice Brazier joins the DMA Social Media Council
We’re proud to announce that our very own Octopede, Alice Brazier, has been invited to join the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) as part of the Social Media Council, a fantastic opportunity for a social media whizz. She will be sitting on the legal and best practice team within the council and will be looking into any legal hurdles surrounding promotions online, and the ways companies can boost their online practices.
As part of her membership, Alice will attend monthly meetings and conduct research into the marketing industry on the perceptions of social media – answering questions such as “how do we measure social media impact?” among others. Alice will also attend DMA meetings and be able to judge awards for social expertise.
The opportunity also gives Alice the chance to chat with social media experts from other agencies and in-house teams at major companies such as Facebook, Microsoft and Buzzfeed. We’re excited to hear about what Alice gets up to in her new position, and the insights she’ll bring to us and our clients – good luck Alice!
