Ambitious agritech company Hectare selects Octopus Group as its retained agency in the UK

Hectare Agritech, the UK’s fastest growing online agritech trading platform, has hired Octopus Group as its retained UK PR and content agency, to drive brand awareness and support its ambitious growth plans.  

Hectare is dedicated to transforming farm trading through its two fast-growing digital marketplaces – SellMyLivestock, the UK’s only livestock trading website, and Graindex where users can buy or sell combinable crops. In addition, it offers the ability to send funds via its FarmPay service.

Octopus Group will be rolling out a comprehensive communications strategy in the farming and food production industries, including PR, content, events and social media. The programme will focus on conveying the huge opportunities present in digitising the business of farming.

By increasing transparency, efficiency and security in farming, as well as offering competitive pricing and clear processes to improve animal health, Hectare is simplifying the currently complex agri-food supply chain. The company already has 30,000 farmers signed up with £30million in listings annually.
