How to make B2B research visually appealing

Research is a great way for B2B companies to gain an understanding of the challenges their target market face and adds credibility to their own claims. The difficulty businesses face is getting their audience to discuss the results.

Presenting them in a creative way helps make the findings engaging and infographics are increasingly becoming the go-to option for marketers to do this. They offer a number of benefits, namely:

  • Provide a visual representation of the important statistics found in the research
  • Lend themselves well to Facebook, Pinterest and many other forms of social media, increasing their chances of being shared
  • Provide audiences with digestible content which is easily scanned and viewed

But, there are other options available. Last week, we helped launch a Kronos CloudReady 2015 study at the Ship and Shovell pub in London.

We wanted to find a creative way to showcase the survey highlights, which linked in to the location where they were being revealed. By using traditional pub chalkboards (pictured above), we were able to demonstrate the findings of the study, giving the journalists that attended an opportunity to digest the results in a refreshing way.

There is a lot of great content out there and brands have to compete to get their voice heard. Those that use creative ways to showcase their message will differentiate themselves and stand out from the crowd.
