Inbound Marketing Insight Event And Practical Next Steps

Inbound pioneers HubSpot commissioned a research study and found that 72% of companies see an increase in sales revenue within one year of using its software. That’s great and all, but what is inbound marketing and what exactly does a B2B blueprint for inbound success look like? Octopus Group is a partner of HubSpot’s, and both will take centre stage at the ScotlandIS Ecommerce Keynote on 4 March to answer these questions. It will be attended by Scotland’s tech business owners and marketing elite, covering how inbound marketing can increase website traffic, leads and sales.

What is inbound marketing?

Inbound is a method of marketing that involves creating content specifically designed to appeal to your ideal customers. It draws on the customer trend of researching extensively online before deciding to buy – something that’s particularly apparent in B2B where the order values tend to be high and often involve long, research-based sales cycles. That content could be in a variety of forms such as blog posts, white papers, videos or webinars, and should be tailored to suit your customer’s needs at each stage of their research process – sending the right message, to the right person, at the right time.
