Octopus Group gets behind the B2B Code of Conduct

The B2B marketing industry has joined forces to draw up a Code of Conduct for both agencies and clients, forming a new alliance that hopes to span the entire B2B sector.

The B2B Code of Conduct is the brainchild of Octopus partner, The Magnus Club, a B2B strategic consultancy for both agencies and client-side marketers run by Teresa Allan.

The initiative is backed by B2B Marketing and was born out of discussions with both agency leaders and client side CMOs out of a need to work better together to accelerate growth, effectiveness and ROI. The result is this Code of Conduct that covers pitching, onboarding, engagement and behaviour.

We’ve put our name down to support the initiative alongside many other leading UK agencies, with the support of client-side representatives and many more expected to join the movement.
