Octopus Group to provide PR support to fintech Yapily

B2B tech marketing agency Octopus Group has announced that it has been chosen to support Yapily for its UK and European PR. Yapily is a fast-growth fintech focused on simplifying the creation of new Open Banking-based products and services.

Open Banking mandates UK banks to provide APIs to access customer financial information and initiate payments to put the customer in control of their finances and encourage financial innovation.

Yapily offers a secure API that enables companies to access the financial information needed to meet rising customer expectations in payments, banking, lending and accounting. The company boasts Fortune 500 companies and fast growth fintechs as clients, including Intuit QuickBooks and GoCardless.

Led by CEO Stefano Vaccino, Yapily has raised $18.4m in funding to date. In the last six months its monthly recurring revenue has grown by over 500%; quadrupled its headcount in London to 45; and expanded into Italy, Ireland and France, as it works towards total market coverage in Europe, with new territories added regularly.
