Creating a new UK telco brand
A cross agency project to rebrand, rename and relaunch SSE Enterprise Telecoms as Neos Networks

The Challenge
Neos Networks (formerly SSE Enterprise Telecoms) is a long term OG client, using the full range of Brand to Sales services. When they announced a plan to decouple from SSE Group they came to us for a brand strategy project that would reassess their place in the UK telco market. This informed a full rebrand, a brand launch, and a new website for the business to stake a claim as the UK’s specialist business telecommunications and connectivity infrastructure provider.

Our Approach
Our rebrand process began after an extensive brand strategy project, involving creative workshops with various stakeholder groups, as well as sessions on naming and identity. We then moved into an iterative programme to bring the brand to life, and create a suite of assets and media plan for the launch. At the same time, we started on a separate project for a new online home for Neos Networks, including user flows and a critical path, sitemaps, wireframes, and design, development and build.


The Outcome
Neos Networks launched in spring 2021, as a wholly new telecommunications brand, built on the heritage of SSE Enterprise Telecoms. The external brand launch was supported by PR activity that resulted in extensive coverage in the telecoms and tech media, and social and video content. Internally, the brand was launched with video content about Neos Networks, along with a new manifesto, brand guidelines and collateral.
