We helped Australian technology company, Nuix, tell the story of how it played a role in the Panama Papers episode.
Challenge
Remember waking up to the Panama Papers news? 11.5 million documents from Panamanian law firm, Mossack Fonseca, were leaked to a German newspaper in April 2016. With 2.6 terabytes of data to crack, the paper reached out to Nuix for some much-needed document processing and investigation support.

Approach
We stepped in to help Nuix capitalise on its ground-breaking role, hitting the phones to secure interviews with journalists who needed to know about Nuix’s software capabilities. At the same time, we had to downplay Nuix’s knowledge of the leaked contents and how they came about. Quick-fire media training for Nuix’s project lead, Carl Barron, helped ensure that messaging stayed clear and consistent.
