A pan-Europe social campaign drove conversation and purchase intent for leading drone manufacture Propel’s Batwing Drone.
Propel is the world’s leading drone manufacturer, with licensing rights for all Warner Brothers and Disney products. The Propel team approached Octopus Group to help them drive excitement for the DC’s Batwing Drone, coming to the EU market for Christmas. The challenge was to create a buzz for Propel in an already saturated Christmas marketplace. We needed to create a moment in time that would signify the launch of these drones both offline and online.
Our approach was first to create a launch moment offline near a famous toy store, by shining the Bat-Signal up onto the night sky. Online, we created a high-end short form video, crafted solely for social. The 3D video let the viewer manipulate the drone's flight path.
