A pan EU, social campaign to drive conversation and purchase intent for Propel’s Batwing Drone.
Propel are the world’s leading drone manufacture with licensing rights for all Warner Brothers and Disney products. They approached Octopus Group to help them drive excitement for the DC’s Batwing Drone coming to the EU market for Xmas. The challenge was creating buzz for Propel in an already saturated Christmas marketplace. We needed to create a moment in time that would signify the launch of these drones both offline and online.
Our approach was to first create a launch moment offline near a famous toy store where we shined the Batsignal up into the night sky. Online, we created a high end short form video - crafted just for social purposes. The video is full 3D which enabled us to manipulate the flight path of the drone and the environment it existed in.
