Marketing Account Manager

We are looking for a talented Account Manager with strengths in planning and delivering creative integrated inbound marketing and digital campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of all things content; with inbound marketing, being required.

Responsibilities:

Be a driving force in our teams, bringing current knowledge of SEO, social media, content, website and email channels to develop and execute multi-channel inbound marketing campaigns for clients. This includes;

  • Manage the ideation and production of content campaigns, including blog posts, web copy, infographics, social media etc
  • Analyse and research keyword data for use in content campaigns
  • Carry out content audits and deliver strategy recommendations
  • Create and maintain content plans, workflows and editorial calendars
  • Working with creative team to produce engaging and content on concept and on message
  • Work with digital teams to ensure content is published with UX and SEO best practice
  • Organic social media planning and management
  • Understanding of paid social media management; LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook
  • Media partnership management and content syndication
  • Develop marketing automation capability within client base (Hubspot, Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua)
  • Execute marketing automation nurture campaigns
  • Continued campaign analysis and optimisation to generate growth and ensure client satisfaction

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ proven B2B marketing experience in a similar role
  • Experience with analytics tools, including Google AdWords, Moz Pro and Google Analytics
  • An analytical mindset and methodical approach, with an ability make recommendations based on statistics
  • Hand on experience managing marketing automation platforms
  • Experience in planning and executing inbound marketing campaigns, budget management, timing scheduling and resource planning

Reporting to:

You will report to the Account Director and work alongside Octopus Group Account Managers and Client Directors
